Lovely recipe! But NOT patatas bravas. Never met a Spaniard who would add cumin to his potatoes. Paprika based sauce as mentioned below is correct!

I made this with sliced fried potatoes. My husband and I absolutely love this quick and tasty spicy dish. I would highly recommend this.

Sounds ok, but this isn't really patatas bravas, which is usually fried cubes (more or less) of potato, with a sauce of paprika based sauce. I dont think ive ever seen them served with chorizo or tomato, at least not in spain (maybe in some touristy place they serve it like that, I dont know).

Super recipe - quick, easy and delicious. As others have said the potatoes should be parboiled on the hob or in the microwave first.

A friend made this for us and had to tell me where to get the recipe as I loved it so much. Tried making it for ourselves but I had to add water as I daftly didn't read the comments who said they part boiled the pots first. so used the water to cook the potatoes then just let it boil off. It was amazing though! I added extra garlic as I am a massive garlic fan. But I thank you for sharing this recipe as I think it's absolutely delicious! x

Sliced and microwaved the potatoes for 3 minutes before adding to chorizo - irresistable. I use the ready cooked packaged chorizo rather than loose or fresh as otherwise I find strength and colour very unpredictable (whatever the label says regarding strength) - and that goes for both French and English shops.

So quick and so tasty - I did parboil the pots as recommended, and this made all the difference.

This recipe is greater than the sum of it's parts. Cheap, simple and very, very tasty! Par-boiled the potatoes before adding to the chorizo.
