Ingredients

  • Mince Beef 1kg (Serves 5)
  • Carrot x2
  • Onion x1
  • Garlic cloves x2
  • Tin of Plumb Tomatoes
  • Jar of bolognese sauce
  • Dried Tyme
  • Dried Taragon
  • Dried Oregano
  • Fresh chives
  • Fresh basil
  • Mushrooms x7
  • Butter (Table spoon)
  • Salt/Pepper
  • Red Wine 1 Cup (Optional)

Method

  • STEP 1
    Step 1. Dice Onion, Garlic and carrots, fry together for 3/4 minutes and put to one side.
  • STEP 2
    Step 2. Brown mince beef for 6/7 minutes add salt, pepper and dried herbs.
  • STEP 3
    Step 3. Add onions, garlic, carrot to the mince beef and cook for 4/5 minutes. add mushrooms
  • STEP 4
    Step 4. Add the tin of plumb tomatoes and jar of bolognese sauce with a table spoon of butter. If you have red wine add 1 cup.
  • STEP 5
    Step 5. Add fresh basil,chives leave to simmer on a low heat for 1 hour. (the longer you leave it the better it tastes)
  • STEP 6
