Method

  1. Toast bread and slice banana. Layer banana on one slice of toast and dust with cinnamon. Spread the second slice with peanut butter, then sandwich the two together and eat straight away.

I know that it should be the most elementary of snacks....but for some reasons I haven't had it for years- finding it here by chance has given me an old new thing to eat mid afternoon!

Sure it tastes good but come on...a recipe?? Is that really needed? I cannot cook to save myself but I am not that much of a moron that I need a recipe for a sandwich!! Not the most inspiring recipe on this website I must say!

307 calories is unlikely. 2 slices granary bread - 200 calories 1 small banana - 95 calories 1 tbsp peanut butter - 125 calories 420 calories. Not quite as light.

Great breakfast idea although I missed out the cinnamon because I don't like it. It kept me full well past lunch time!
