Shiro Shimeji Crostini's are a perfect canape for any party. The Shiro Shimeji adds unique flavour to the crostini and the inclusion of the Brie compliments the red pepper and the Shiro Shimeji. Ingredients

  • 2 X Livesey Bros Shiro Shimeji
  • 1 French Baguette
  • 2 X Red Peppers
  • 1 Round (230g) Brie

Method

    1. Slice the baguette into 24 rounds, drizzle with olive oil and grill until toasted either side, then leave to cool
    2. Thinly slice the red pepper and fry for 2 minutes until soft
    3. Separate the Shiro Shimeji and fry in a little olive oil for 4 minutes until soft
    4. Slice the brie into 24 slices, then top the bread with it. Grill for 2 minutes until the cheese begins to melt
    5. Top the crostini's with the red peppers and the Shiro Shimeji
