truly indian fish stew

Ingredients
- 6 fillets of fresh cod or any white fish
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 medium cooking onion
- 1/2 in ginger
- 3 green chillies
- pinch of turmeric
- 1 tbsp sunfower oil
- salt to taste
- chopped coriander leaves to garnish
Method
- STEP 1clean and pat dry the fish fillet
- STEP 2make a paste with onion/ginger/garlic/green chillies and fry in hot oil till golden brown and oil separates
- STEP 3add salt to taste and 2-3 cups of water,add fish fillets gently
- STEP 4simmer for next 20 mins ,add coriander leaves for the last 2-3 mins
- STEP 5serve hot with long grain rice
