Method

  1. In a medium-sized saucepan, mix the oats, cinnamon, sugar, milk and half the sliced bananas. Bring to the boil, stirring occasionally. Turn down the heat and cook for 4-5 mins, stirring all the time.

  2. Remove and divide between 4 bowls, top with the remaining banana, strawberries, a dollop of yogurt and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

SUCH a nice way to do porridge. The recipe was simple, and the ingredients and flavours went really well together. I'll definitely be making it on the weekends as my treat-breakfast!

Delicious breakfast. Often have cinnamon porridge at home, but never thought to add banana into the cooking- nice touch. I added mixed berries to the topping, strawberries and blueberries. I also love the idea of the yoghurt on the porridge. Yummy and filling!

Fabulous breakfast. I substituted unsweetened coconut milk and it's wonderfully creamy. Instead of sugar I used a bit of Stevia and 1/2 tsp of Molasses. Lovely!

Loved this, a really tasty and satisfying breakfast, a great way to start the day. I added a handful of raisins as well which went really well with the cinnamon. Defiantly trying this one again.
