Welcome to the BBC Good Food Health Podcast, hosted by registered nutritionist and health editor at BBC Good Food, Tracey Raye. While her day-to-day involves overseeing the health, nutrition and fitness-related content across our brands, don’t be fooled by the title – health has not always been in her name.
Tracey was overweight as a child – with a penchant for packaged foods and a deep suspicion of raw vegetables; and spent much of her early life navigating the struggle of living with chronic illness.
Having studied her way back to wellness, she learned that when it comes to navigating the world of health and wellbeing, conversation is key. And so, in this series, Tracey will be sitting down with world-leading health experts to discuss a range of topics from fitness and gut health, to hormonal balance and depression.
We’ll be exploring what healthy really means in the context of these subjects, whether it’s the same for every person and how we can begin to bring ourselves to a place of health while still feeling good in the process.
