Jacqui McElhiney is the head of science at Food Standards Scotland. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Molecular Microbiology and now has over a decade of experience in the field.
Jacqui began as a research scientist at the University of Aberdeen and later joined the Food Standards Agency, where she was branch head of food safety monitoring; and policy and scientific advisor in food safety.
