Based in Brighton, Andy Lynes has spent the last 15 years travelling the world, writing about food and drink. In addition to contributing to BBC Good Food, his monthly Food Miles column appears in the Sunday Telegraph travel section, covering everything from the best place in Rome to eat cacio e pepe to a food and drink festival in Mauritius.
He is a regular contributor to The Times, writes about the hospitality industry for The Caterer and has interviewed dozens of the world's top chefs for Chef magazine. He is the author of four books about food, including How to be a Chilli Head, and teaches food writing at Leith's School of Food and Wine in London.
He is the co-founder of Brighton's Best Restaurants which holds an annual Top 20 restaurant awards and October Best restaurant festival in the city. He is a MasterChef semi-finalist, keen home cook and blogs about his obsessive cookbook habit at https://cookbookreview.blog.
