Fiona Beckett is a food and travel writer, known for her expertise in food and wine pairing. For more than two decades, Fiona worked as a freelance food and wine writer for various UK national press publications. She has worked at Decanter since 1998 and has been the wine columnist for The Guardian since 2010. Fiona’s website, matchingfoodandwine.com, explores the art of food and drink pairing. She has also authored several eBooks, including 101 Great Ways to Enjoy Sherry, 101 Great Ways to Enjoy Cheese & Wine and 101 Great Ways to Enjoy Chocolate & Wine in collaboration with designer Helen Miller. Fiona was named Blogger of the Year by the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) in 2014 and has been a judge for the Fortnum & Mason Food awards, the Andre Simon awards and the BBC Food & Farming Awards.
