Flourless chocolate & pear cake

"Made this for my nephew who is gluten free and was surprised how light it turned out. I was really careful when folding the egg whites but it looked really flat when I took it out of the tin. I made two smaller ones which probably made it look even less like a cake but it tasted great and looked nice once the icing sugar was added. Would definately cook again!"

Sausage & pumpkin roast

"Made this for my niece and nephews yesterday and it disappeared within minutes. I had to use Gluten Free sausages as we have a coeliac in the family but they tasted alright for the rest of us despite being a bit pale. I was hoping the sausages would brown a bit more than they did but once the gravy was in there it didn't matter so much. I doubled it and it served four adults and four children with good appetites! I did it was jackets, green beans and cauliflower cheese which was the perfect Sunday warming supper. "

"Made this with Gluten Free sausages for my father in law. It was very nice but I found the sauce a bit rich and the lentils seemed to take ages. We ate it with some garlic bread. I would definately make it again though, perhaps with more water/stock and less wine. "

"Never thought of using other fruit instead of lemon in a meringue but now am going to experiment with others! Really delicious but a bit sloppy once you cut into it. I used about 2 tbsp of cornflour which seems to be what everyone has said and think it's probably the water I'd cut down on next time."

"Didn't cook the vegetables but the chicken was delicious roasted in the oven and then finished on the barbeque. Easy to prepare and makes really crispy chicken skin!"
