"We all loved this meal! I added some cherry tomatoes to the pan with the salmon (cheaper salmon fillets - not the wild side!) as the photo suggests. The kids weren't too keen on the lentils and capers so I removed the capers and added the ever ready tomato ketchup to help them out and it all disappeared in a flash!!"

"Read all the comments above and took them on board. Firstly added peppers and mushrooms to the recipe, doubled the paprika, added tomato puree and cooked for a lot longer so that the liquids were reduced and the flavours intensified. Lovely meal which the kids really enjoyed, even if it was a little 'spicy' according to them!"

"Excellent for the kids lunch boxes, both my children (4 and 6) enjoyed them and asked for them again - result! Also have finally found a pastry that doesn't fall apart when you try to make a pie with it!! A lovely dish for the whole family - perfect for picnics, I'll be sure to try with different fillings too! Thanks!"

"Cooked for an extra 15 minutes as suggested by other people and the cake was perfect. My only problem was that all my rhubarb sank to the bottom of the cake, can only think that perhaps my home grown rhubarb was a little skinny and needed less cooking time!! Excellent indulgent pudding which my neighbour thought would be great with clotted cream. Mmmm!"
