"I like onions so used two instead of one. I let the whole thing bubble away in my slow cooker for approx 10 hours. I usually find that the flavours improve if you eat a stew etc the following day, so that is what I did. I didn't bother with the peppers, beans, cream or coriander, but it was still superb. I have no doubt that this stew will be making a regular appearance in our house."

"Apart from using smoked Haddock and Panko breadcrumbs I followed the recipe and was very pleased with the results. I didn't think it was particularly quick to put together though, so I wouldn't want to make it during the week. However, I am sure it will become a firm favourite in our house."

"Rated 5* by my husband because he said it was the best Chilli that he has ever had. The only thing I changed was increasing (quite significantly) the amount of tom puree, other than that I kept true to the recipe."

"My husband loved this and said it was the best version he has ever had. That said I did change it slightly: I added mustard powder to the dry pastry ingredients, I used creme fraiche instead of double cream, I used a gammon steak that was knocking around in the freezer and I used mature cheddar and also added a chopped onion. I will be making this again."
