"This recipe was quick and easy to make, and was a HUGE hit with my husband. He likes all the cakes I made, but really loved this one! I made it in the 2 1lb tins as suggested and liked that there was a cake to eat now, and one to freeze for another time. Unless I was totally strapped for time I would continue to add the stresusel topping as it only took a couple of minutes and the sugary pecan flavour was a great compliment to the chocolate and banana."

"Unfortunately, these pasties were so dry it was like eating sand. I had high hopes as the filling looked and smelt so gorgeous, but the finished product wasn't pleasant. The pastry was easy to make, but incredibly difficult to work with. I'll use a different pastry recipe next time, and will look at reworking the recipe to provide more moisture."

"I certainly didn't find this recipe bland (I used a paste made by a well known manufacturer beginning with B), but I did find it underwhelming. It tasted ok, and was quick and easy to make - although it did require more liquid than stated to cook the rice thoroughly - but the lamb got lost in all the rice and wasn't really noticable, flavour or texture wise. I won't make it again in it's original form, but I will try it with chicken and a bit less rice and see how that goes."

"I've no idea what went wrong.... I used the correct amounts of everything, wrung every last drop of liquid out of the courgettes and ended up with a soupy, bubbling mix. I added another 150g or so of flour to try to thicken the mix enough for it to get past the liquid stage but it's still too liquid to even attempt to knead. I'm no stranger to bread making and I've never had results like this - am totally baffled, and really disappointed."

"I made this with some undyed smoked haddock, some whiting, and some salmon, as that was what looked good at the fish counter that day. It was very easy to prepare and tasted delicious. I didn't add the eggs because I just forgot, and I don't think I'll add them next time as it tasted so good without them (and my kids aren't keen on hard boiled eggs)."
