"Really yummy biscuits, I cut mine into stars with cookie cutters and sprinkled with caster sugar, they didn't stay uneaten for long! I've also used the recipe to make chocolate and vanilla swirls; make up the recipe as instructed, but leave out the vanilla and divide dough into two, add 1 tsp vanilla to one half and one tbs of coco powder to the other. Roll both sets of dough into a rectangle of the same size, place one on top of the other and roll up to make a sausage shape. Leave to rest for 15 mins, cut into rounds and cook as with normal biscuits. Yum! These are definatly on the list for my homemade christmas hampers this year!"

"I'm hoping to make this for Christmas presents too, I found canned cherry tomatoes in tesco, so I assume you should be able to get them in the bigger supermarkets? Just wondering if the cooking times would be the same if I doubled up the quantities? Will comment again when I've made it...!"

"I love this recipe - have had it several times now as requested by my husband every time I write the weekly menu! In answer to Kari, we used butternut squash, but I'm sure it would work just as well with Pumpkin too. I've tried it with dried lasagne sheets too (to save money!) - it works just as well if you use the no pre-cook version and soak it in boiling water for 5 mins before using it."
