"I finally got around to making this cake, after such wonderful reviews I'd been looking forward to having a go. I have to say though that I was a tad disappointed, the cake was a little too moist and 200g of philadelphia cream cheese for the topping was way too much, after mixing it with the icing sugar and sour cream I had enough left over to make a cheesecake! I only used two packs of blueberries as opposed to three and there still seemed an abundance. Overall it wasn't as nice as I anticipated and I wouldn't hurry to make another one, for that reason I've awarded it four stars."

"Have just made this cake exactly as the recipe stated - I have to admit I'm not the greatest fruit cake lover but my partner really likes them - he reckons this cake is the best he's ever tasted! The taste is definitely scrummy with the whiskey, the recipe doesn't include any nuts but I'll add some next time. The main advantage with this recipe is that the cake is wonderfully moist - I made a cake at Christmas using a Delia Smith recipe which was very dry - this one will definitely be my choice from now on, not sure how long it would last in an airtight container - anyone have any ideas? "Absolutely fantastic, extremely quick preparation and cooking time. The lemon curd gives it a really zesty flavour, very tasty. I've made this many times over for friends and family - no-one yet has been able to believe it's made in the microwave. The taste and texture are as good as any steamed/baked sponge pudding."
