"This cake is just divine! I love cakes that use vegetable's in the recipe as they are usually so much moister - this recipe is no exception. 10/10 - Even the cat enjoyed it!"

"If anyone is a member of costco, they are now doing two lobsters, cooked and frozen for £8. Have tried this recipe with them and it will be going on to the dinner party plan!"

"I love this recipe. I made it for a dinner party and used skirt of beef. Kept the meat in quite large pieces. Served with cabbage (as that was in my veggie box) and rice. My guests thought it was amazing and thought that I had spent hours slaving over the hot stove. True winner."

"I made this when it came out in the magazine. The picture looked so appealing. Although I loved the taste, I did think that it would have tasted slightly more of caramel. Still a winner though and it all vanished at an amazing rate of knots."

"What a superb recipe! Made this for a dinner party and then friends could not make it. Thought that we would have a problem shifting the whole cake - how wrong was I. Just like those served in the New York Diners. Will be making this time and time again."
