"I made this cake last night, didn't add the almonds but it turned out great. It didn't last 10 minutes in my office today. They are great guinea pigs. Will definitely make this again."

"I absolutely love this recipe. It is really easy to make. I agree with the comments above, you do need a little more water as it can get quite dry. I used more chorizo - as that is a favourite of mine. Have made this a few times now and passed the recipe on to my brother and it was a big hit in his household. "

"I made this for the first time last night and brought it into work today. It has absolutely flown off the plate. I found it very moist, but probably because I soaked the raisins and sultanas in a little brandy over night. Will definitely make this again!"

"So, I am not sure whether to make this recipe or not - it looks nice and a few comments have said it tasted nice - so think I might go for it. To be honest though, I have had a chuckle reading those comments. Classic!! I will rate when I finally get round to making it :0)"
