"Brilliant, so easy to make, made it for my husband as a Birthday cake as he loves chocolate and we all enjoyed it so much going to make it for my son's birthday but going to try making two and sandwich it together with the fudge sauce so that I can decorate the top with his favourite character. Will leave my comments if this works well."

"Great recipe but agree it needed cooking for much longer then suggested and I had to cover the top with parchment paper to prevent it from burning. I did add an additional ingredient of poppy seeds (taken from another honey cake recipe) and thought it worked just as well. Loved the depth of the cake although was not to impressed with the glaze, would consider next time making an icing sugar glaze with the honey."

"I tried this cake as a tester on some friends, in preparation of the Jewish New Year, (it is tradition to eat sweet foods at this particular time of year). I did not make the strawberry topping just used the cake mix. It was very moist and light however it's not a deep cake and I prefer something a bit deeper, however I would make it again."
