"Skipped the bread altogether and went straight for the brioche as recommended! This was absolutely divine. Used a good mix of fruit including blackberries and cherries as well as raspberries, strawberries, and red & blackcurrants. It takes a while to make with the overnight chilling (make sure you stand the bowl on a plate as the juices WILL spill out!) but is well worth it. I served it with creme fraiche sweetened with a little icing sugar and flavoured with vanilla instead of the double cream. worked really well and will definitely be making it again."

"This is a wonderfully fresh and light salad & I have made it on numerous occasions with several variations. I don't always include chicken as Hubby can't eat it. I also often use basil instead of the parsley. If pushed for time try using a couple of drained packs of cubed feta and olives available in supermarkets as a quick and easy alternative to cubing and mixing with the herbs as it works just as well but do drain all the oil off. Always goes down well as a starter (a really good stand by) but also in larger quantities as a main salad meal. Fabulous!"

"Really simple to make but tasted superb! The muhsrooms soaked up the flavours and were beautifully moist and tender. Other half loved it! Served it with tiny new boiled potatoes and a crisp green salad with avocados and black olives."

"PERFECT STARTER! Delicate cleansing & delicious. Will definitely make it again& again. Made it as a starter for roast fillet and it was perfect. The subtle delicate flavour of the dill blends wonderfully with the salmon and the cucumber adds crunch and compliments the tanginess of the creme fraiche. Superb! Tried the sourdough too but I am sure crusty loaf would work just the same."

"Accept it for what it is & you have a really simple, easy to make & delicious desert - whatever you want to call it. I substituted port for the marsala as I didn't have any and it was still simply gorgeous & so, so easy. I used very strong 85% dark grated chocolate and the result was brilliant. Needed more sponge fingers than stated but I think that depends on the size of the dish you use. Don't look at the calorie and fat content if you are at all concious though - definitely one just for an ocaisional treat!"
