"The flavour of this cake is perfect bu it really needs a lot more cooking than stated. About 40mins extra on the lower temperature worked for me. Have made it twice and it was a hit with everyone who tasted it. I think a smidge of butter on a slice is nice. "mixed vine fruits" from waitrose are perfect for this. Nobody does them better!!"

"Why would you make a curry containing half a jar of peanut butter and be surprised that it tastes nutty??? Nutters!! My husband does not like peanut butter but made this anyway as an experiment.... I asked him to guess all the ingredients and he didn't even get close to peanut butter! It was made from start to finish in 15mins and everyone polished it off (including kids aged 3 and 4). Have made it twice now and stuck to the recipe, just adding extra chilli at the end for the adult portions. A superb dish that will be made again and again :-)"

"I flatten the chicken lots so it cooks perfectly in the time stated. I use really good balsamic vinegar and the difference is really noticble. Also take the chicken out, keep it warm while reducing the sauce with a major boil for a few mins, a tad more sugar than the recipe state, so it thickens up nicely. Everyone loves it including 3 and 4 year old. I wouldn't use it for entertaining though as it tastes way better than it looks!"
