    "This looks super impressive but tastes very bland. I put an extra tablespoon of Tia Maria in both the cheesecake and the sour cream topping...but was still bland. Also added some icing sugar to the sour cream topping as I felt it needed a sweeter topping. It is very large so a little will go a long way but I shan't make it again even though it was very easy to make and looks good."

    "This came out very dense and somewhat tasteless. The fruit gave it a nice contrast in texture/flavour but I just couldn't put my finger on what was missing from the cake. Won't be making again."

    "This is a delicious dessert and very easy to prepare. It definitely needs an overnight chill in the fridge and probably would be better frozen because it was only just solid enough to slice after being removed from the loaf pan after being in the fridge for 24 hours...anyone coming for seconds had to spoon it on to their plates as it fell flat. I didn't read the recipe properly and crushed the ameretti biscuits because I presumed it would be that way, but this didn't spoil the appearance or the taste. It also looks very lovely...before it becomes like an Eton mess."

    Flambéed chicken with asparagus

    "Very easy and quick. I see now why the recipe says stand back when you light the brandy...there is a lot of flame! I did not notice until I actually served the meal that there is no salt in the recipe at all...and I blindly followed it! The sauce does need salt otherwise it's rather bland. So, with salt, this was a very nice and easy dish to make. "
