"This was divine, although mine looked considerably more, er, rustic than the picture! I thought I'd be clever and use the full pack of berries as 200g didn't look enough, so this made the bubbling of juices out of the tin quite bad, but luckily I'd taken the advice of placing a tray underneath so there was no mess. This would also be good served as a warm pudding."

"The lettuce and peas are sublime; so easy but impressive. I could eat a dish of this all on its own."

"Looked exactly like the picture and was beautifully aromatic and moist. Very easy too. Unfortunately hubby announced he doesn't like banana cake (after I'd made it) so hmm, who's going to eat it all?"

"This is just about the best sponge I have ever made, just divine! I couldn't get marscapone for the icing so used ricotta instead - big mistake! It was a very strange consistency and there was only enough for sandwiching the cakes together. I was also surprised to see there is no coffee in the icing, as most coffee cakes do feature this. Next time I'd make it with a coffee butter icing, or with marscapone (if I can get it!) "

"Lovely flavours but I must say I find the texture rather bitty with all the sesame seeds. Also 10-15 minutes in the oven was too long after adding the dried fruit, as some it ended up rather hard and chewy. Won't stop me making it again with a few amendments though!"
