"Made this pie lots of times and it is good, I used dried tarragon, one and a half tea spoons and I reckon was just about the right amount. A finely sliced leek works as well instead of the spring onions"

"HAVE BEEN TO THE KARACHI RESTAURANT MANY TIMES AND ORDERED THIS CURRY, NOW KNOWN AS THE RICK STEIN KARAHI, THIS VERSION OF THE RECIPE USES GRUNDNUT OIL THE ORIGINAL RECIPE SAYS TO USE 250 GRM OF GHEE, A LITTLE UNHEALTHY PERHAPS BUT IT DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO THE FLAVOUR. HAVE COOKED THIS CURRY AND IF YOU MAKE SURE YOU SIMMER THE MEAT UNTIL IT IS VERY TENDER THEN YOU WILL HAVE A DISH VERY SIMILAR TO WHAT IS SERVED IN THE RESAURANT IN BRADFORD IT IS DELICIOUS"
