"I put them on 180c fan and they were still slightly soggy :( But they tasted really nice otherwise so I think I'll make them again and try with some other flavours."

Minced beef Wellington

"I halved everything to serve 4. I did make a few mistakes- I put the same amount of sage in as parsley so the sage REALLY overpowered it...but at the same time, it created a nice flavour. I also chopped the onions too thick so they were nearly raw (don't do that...). I also found so much fat came off the mince that I had to wrap it in kitchen towel as it cooled so I could get some off. My meat also didn't stick together but it still tasted fine. And it was completely budget friendly so I think this is great :)"

"This recipe seemed a bit weird so I changed it :D I mixed the sausage meat with dried sage and it flavoured it much more than just shoving a leaf on top of sausages! Warning though, if you use ready rolled pastry, use LOTS of egg as they just don't stick together! and in my fan oven, I could cook them for just 15 mins and the temperature they said. But otherwise, a great idea and so easy to make!"

Pear & toffee muffins

"I used Fudge with this recipe and left out the almonds (nut free house) and it worked really well :) Lovely muffins that were much enjoyed by my OH and his family with some lovely cinnamon and pear flavours coming through. My only words of advice is: Make sure the flour at the bottom of the bowl has been just incorporated too (whoops!!) AND as many have said before, make sure the toffee/fudge pieces are pressed down into the mixture or they'll explode out the side. and its a pain to get off the baking tray!!! "
