"This is a good deep cake. Grated, or rather chopped, my courgette in my mini chopper which took seconds. Put it on the lower middle oven shelf and gave it an extra 20 minutes or so baking time and came out lovely and moist. The icing was delicious. It wasn't too sweet at all!"

"My streaky bacon was so narrow that I couldn't overlap the rashers otherwise the chicken wouldn't have fitted on, so I left a slight gap between each rasher. It still turned out perfectly and held together really well once it was unwrapped. My only niggle was that the chicken was a little dry but that may be because I left it in the oven for longer than stated due to my guests being late. However, everyone was very impressed and it tasted good! Whilst preparing the dish, I set about 4 large tablespoons of the stuffing aside (minus the egg) and we ate it as an accompaniment."

"Really attractive dish. I used sweet chilli sauce to replace the tabasco, so it wasn't too hot. A satisfying meal in itself."

"Really tasty dish. The peas inside my sugarsnaps were minute so instead I threw in a few additional handfuls of petit pois when blanching. A surprisingly satisfying meal."

"Really nice flavour, I ran out of pitta breads so used wraps folded over with slices of beef tomato, mayonnaise and lettuce. Used a beaten egg to bind the burgers together as the mixture was very dry."
