"Have used this recipe a couple of times now to use up the plums from my Grandad's tree. First time they went soggy after a day, I think because of the juice from the plums so second time I used half plums and half sultanas. Also, when adding the plums to the mix I picked out the pieces of plum from the bowl rather than just pouring the whole lot in - that meant there was still liquid in the bowl rather than making the mix really wet. Am going to try it again this afternoon but without plums as Grandad's tree is now bare! A very good flapjack recipe though, even if it did need one or two adjustments. "

"Ridiculously simple recipe! Only problem I had was that after chilling the dough was a bit sticky but a bit of playing around and adding more flour soon sorted that out. Am going to make another batch now as they didn't last long. :)"

Layered roast summer vegetables

"Have now cooked this several times and received great feedback every time. For a novice cook (such as me!) it's fairly simple but the prep seems to take ages (especially trying to get all the slices even thickness) and, as said above, trying to keep the slices standing up is quite frustrating! Last time I did it, I used two smaller dishes so it was easier to keep hold of everything to stop it falling over. "
