"I mixed mine with part margarine and part butter and as I was making a half mixture only used a egg yolk. They came out really nicely and put different sweets and buttons in mine for my friends child themed party. "

"I didn't add the marmite because I don't own any and didn't want to buy it for the recipe. A really nice simple recipe for when I don't have a decent amount of time to cook a roast."

"On the advice of others here I used a tomatoe sauce instead of a pasata, I also added celery n baked it in one big dish. I got a really good reaction from a American friend!"

"I fed this to my boyfriend and for both of us it was our first meal with lentils, we enjoyed it but ate it all except some of the sausages between us. We also used dry thyme n single cream n was great :)"
