"I often make this with a cheese and tomato sauce. For a treat, a topping of crunched up crisps and grated cheese stuck under the grill for a couple of minutes is fantastic. I'll try sticking the garlic in next time, haven't tried that. Thanks!"

"I also tried this with yoghurt instead of double cream, and it was gorgeous! I also used home-made stock, which still had chicken and carrots in it, and they blended beautifully. An easy and tasty winter soup!"
