Tested

"I was torn between this recipe and another for Prosciutto wrpped chicken and leek terrine which looked really pretty. I made this recipe but also made the spiced pears which go with the above, sorry it sounds a bit complicated . I surrounded the terrine with oiled rocket leaves and the whole thing was lovely to eat and really impressive for a posh dinner."

"I have not made this recipe but made the lemon ice cream to go with another cake. I make a lot of ice cream and this was my first failure, the texture was grainy and I think that the cream curdled while it was simmering with the lemon, I have never made ice cream like this before. The taste was ok but nothing special."

"Made this as per recipe and found it to be wonderful, it was also greatly appreciated by my french friends who are mad for cheesecake. Two days later I removed the remaining strawberries and it travelled to a lakeside picnic in france where it sliced perfectly and still tasted as good. "

"I dont bother with the frothy part but apart from that this is a wonderful soup and well worth the bother of using the fresh pesto."
