"Made this today and wasn't too sure what it would be like, but it is absolutely delicious, the perfect cake for afternoon tea! It is lovely and moist and cooked in an hour. Very easy to make and I doubt it will last longer than a day or two!"

"Not a fan of this I'm afraid, I was going to make this for a picnic but I had already made too much fun. I'm glad I didn't as I made this for lunch yesterday and found it to be quite wet, which wouldn't have been good picnic food. Cooked it for over 20 minutes as the pastry wasn't quite cooked properly underneath as the mixture is quite wet, was okay but wouldn't make it again."

"Not sure what I did wrong with this but my cake was as hard as rock, and apart from using it as a doorstop I didn't know what else to do with it! I consider myself pretty good a cake baking but I somehow went wrong with this recipe. I've just make the Chocolate Fondant recipe by Gordon Ramsey so I know I haven't lost my touch, but I definitely won't be trying this recipe again..."

"I made these recently and they were delicious although I think 2 per person is a little too much for me. Will definitely be on the menu again, as incredibly easy to make, I spread a little dijon mustard onto the pastry first before adding the filling and they turned out perfectly!"

"I made these last night for a dinner party with my in-laws and although I followed the recipe to the 'T' I was still a little apprehensive when putting them in the oven as I thought the curse of Masterchef may prevail as nobody on that programme can ever make them. Thankfully my fears were unfounded as they were fantastic. Surprisingly light (or maybe I've just got a sweet tooth!) but I thought they were going to be much richer than they were. They were absolutely delicious and went down a storm. I will definitely be making these again, and my hubby is pleased that we still have 4 more left in the freezer for next time!"
