"Made this last night for lunch today. Although it all was eaten, and 4 young children enjoyed it, I have to say that I found it bland with no real depth of flavour. Whilst I was cooking the ragu I tasted it and thought then it needed something to give it a boost. I did add 2 teaspoons of sugar and a good glug of quality balsamic vinegar but even after that the resulting dish definitely wasnt as nice as I'd hoped. Sadly not a recipe I would cook again, would search out one that I thought would give more richness and flavour - shame...."

"Made last night for a veggie friends lunch and she loved it, as did my husband and even my 3 yr old twins ate some too. I used brie, cornish quartz (half price in Waitrose & super delicious) and davidstow. The pastry was done in seconds in the procecessor, and the overall taste was simply wonderful. So easy, so tasty, one to make time and time again! All gone by teatime!"

"Help please! Not sure what I'm doing wrong, have just made this today for 2nd time as first time the cakes didnt rise. Followed everything to the letter and the same thing has happended again. The cakes are only about 1 inch high and quite a heavy dense texture - should they not be deeper and lighter? Any tips would be greatly appreciated - its not cheap to keep getting it wrong!"

"These look and sound great, I will make them for my daughters birthday party. If I make and freeze could I cook from frozen or would I need to defrost? Dont want to give food poisoning to 20 3 year olds! Maxine"
