The ultimate makeover: Lemon tart
24 comments
"Only 4/5 as it tasted DELICIOUS but there was not enough pastry by miles. I had to roll it out so thin that of course it cracked in the oven when blind baking. I took a chance as I was dying to taste the lemony goodness and luckily it all went well but please remember to increase pastry ingredients by at least 50% for there to be enough to line the tin. "

Cauliflower cheese

"Absolutely delicious!!! Added extra cheese and a tbsp of wholegrain mustard as well as a cheeky veg stock cube and it was simply heavenly. And this is coming from someone who has despised cauliflour for decades!"

"Made this for guests just before a birthday party last week - it was quick in preparation as well as cooking time and was very low-maintenance. The flavours were lovely, nothing curdled and one of my (very picky, odd allergy-ridden) guests just called me to check the recipe as she's making it for her own guests this weekend! Result!"

"Made this last night and it was divine! Omitted celery and added some soy sauce & thai sweet chili sauce to deepen the flavours but essentially kept the basics the same. Wonderful! Made in bulk to freeze some individual portions for DH's dinner when I'm out :) Perfect autumn dish!"

"So simple yet so impressive. An absolute entertaining staple for me as it's so easy and quick to prepare. It's an interesting mixture of flavours - Indian, Greek and seafood, but it works. Guests were very impressed, and it's just as well they get snapped up first as the tzaziki does make the poppadums squishy rather quickly."
