"I wanted to cook this but could not find verjuice locally. I used maderia wine instead, not because it is similar but because I like it. I was very pleased with the result. we had half one day and the rest two days later, it improved, as casseroles do by being chilled and reheated. The parsley and lemon garnish is a must to add colour to the finished dish."

Ultimate sticky toffee pudding

"This was excellent. I had a jar of blackstrap molasses so I used that instead of the treacle. I made 1 1/2 times the ingredients and cooked it in a lined 20cm x 30 cm slide out brownie tin for 40 mins @ 180c/160c fan, I then made 1 1/2 times the sauce ingredients and let it cool for a while. I then poured most ot it it slowly over the cake and left it for 24 hours. I reheated portions for 35 seconds each in the microwave. Yummy."

"Where in the ingriedient list is the onion? I bought the ingriedients only to find when making this dish that I did not have the onion. Most annoying!!"
