Greek lamb with potatoes & olives

"Yum, yum! I was slightly concerned that this dish would be a little dry as it had no sauce. How wrong could I be? I cooked the vegetables for at least 1 and half hours on moderate heat, before adding the lamb. I used courgette as well as aubergine. The juices of the meat mingled fabulously with the veg and the feta. Absolutely gorgeous. I served this with the crispy Greek pie. Wow. xx"

"Yum, yum. Made this last night and wow - it was gorgeous! I used the full jar of sun-dried toms. Definitely needs the full jar. I also addes pine nuts and a little extra feta. This was my first time with filo and what a success. I also cooked the Greek lamb with potatoes and olives to accompany this dish. Wow."

"What a scrumptious recipe. As it was cooking, I kept getting compliments about the gorgeous smell coming from the kitchen! I used chicken breasts and cut them into reasonable pieces. I didn't fancy the idea of putting raw chicken straight into the one pot so I cooked them for a few minutes in butter, prior to adding to the one pot. The creme fraiche was a superb addition at the end. Definitely doing again next week!!"

"Cooked this yesterday - very easy to do and absolutely gorgeous!! I used Marks & Spencer Balti paste which was perfect - gave it a good kick but not too hot and spicy. I only had full fat coconut milk but a few extra calories was well worth it. May try it with chicken next time."

"Cooked for this evening's meal and it was a great success. Very easy recipe to follow and a yummy, rich tasting sauce. Once I'd added the wine, stock and chicken, I cooked it in the oven, rather than on the hob. Definite success and will do again on a regular basis."
