"What a winner! I used diced shoulder and it was fine. I was impressed with the herby scones, although I didn't roll them as thin as suggested after reading the comments, I zapped the flour and butter in the food processor to make breadcrumbs before adding fluid, as I am a simple soul and thought simply mixing the butter and flour together wouldn't mix it enough.. Comfort food of the highest order. "

"Loved the flavour of this but found it was a little sloppy, although I put in more amarettis than stated. Perhaps it was me but there also seemed too much orange juice for the amount of biscuit. Despite these comments it still got well and truly eaten. I will try it again and modify it slightly, as it was easy to make and still looked great. "

"Cooked it for longer to soften the lentils but I needed to add more liquid as it cooked. Ended up delicious though and I have now done it several times"
