"Really enjoyed making this at the weekend, I left it in the fridge for 3 days and then served it with rocket & walnuts salad, cranberry sauce and a granary roll - heaven! The only thing that put me off was handling the livers and mixing it all by hand - yuk! I also had to drain quite a lot of water out of the dish whilst it was in the oven, not sure whether this came from the meat (I bought quality stuff or so I thought) or the tin? It doesnt smell particularly appetising when its hot but believe me when its been in the fridge a few days its scrummy - perfect for a xmas buffet. I'm having 2nds tonight for tea :)"

"If the avocados are very ripe, eat on the same day as mine went brown over night, even though I'd squeezed plenty of lemon juice into the mixture to stop this. Will try again tho....."

"Really yummy, as its cold this time of year I served the pie warm with baked beans - loved it! I cooked the pie whole and have frozen the rest to be eaten over Christmas. I found this very easy to make and pretty quick too. I had to miss the chestnuts out as couldnt find any."

"am addicted to lentils now and this is another great recipe for them. forget reducing the amount of wine, reduce the amount of water if you dont want too much liquid!"
