Chicken, sweet potato & coconut curry

"really quick, easy and very delish. I used Quorn, 2 tbsp of Vindaloo paste, and some marrow, and spinach as well as the sweet potato. You could use any veg really. Gorgeous. Will definitely make again."

"I too used Quorn, and added some dried chilli flakes and garlic, and sliced roasted red pepper for colour. Absolutely delicious, and so unbelievably quick and easy. Served it with basmatic rice steamed with a cinammon stick and a split cardammom pod, and then stirred in some melted butter at the end. Yum. Another good food hit, will def be making this again and again, as I love the spinach, chick pea combo."

"Noting the previous comments about the sweetness, I used 4 dstspoons treacle, and only 60g of sugar in the sponge, and grated zest of a small lemon too. This was absolutely delicious, just enough syrup with the slight lemony flavour cutting through the sweetness. As others, used less sugar in the custard too. This was so easy to whip up and yet would really impress at a dinner party, 'specially with the blokes, who always seem to love these 'school' puddings. Yum, yum. Yet another GF hit recipe. Not had one duff one yet!"

Spiced vegetable biryani

"Fantastic, delicious. Even with the recipe halved i had loads left over and so gave it to the inlaws next day for an informal lunch...everyone raved about it. Simple, lovely and will be making again. Kind of like the fact that it would be easy to alter according to what veggies you have available. I added Quorn too, to make a slightly more substantial main dish. "
