"Not bad. Tried substituting curry powder rather than paste and dried coriander instead of fresh to keep costs down, since I already had these. Not effective :)"

"Let them cool :) I tried them straight out of the oven and really wasn't impressed; the pastry was oily and quite sickly. Cold, on the other hand, they're really quite good. It's worth making sure that the spring onions are very finely chopped, they can be a bit over powering. Go nuts with the seasoning as well. An article on crimping pastry would be appreciated. If there's a knack, I don't have it!"

"Not *bad*.... left out the stock as someone suggested above, wish I hadn't. Also forgot to season mixture which was noticable. I'm sure cooked to recipe this is pretty good."

"Bit mixed. Cheese, tomatoes and the olive oil I put on the pastry went really, really well together, but I felt the dish was marred by the inclusion of spinach. That said, there are plenty of options available for filling, so will definently make again."

"Food from heaven :) I was worried about the quality of meat I'd get from shoulder, but I was pleasantly suprised given the cheapness of it compared to other cuts. I served mine with tomatoes, red onions and natural yoghurt. I also used Tesco garlic and herb flatbreads because I couldn't find plain ones, and the seasoning made such a difference. Gorgeous combinations of flavours and so simple to make. Does still cost a bit more than a usual meal all in, but soooo worth it."
