"I made this for breakfast today with approx 1/3 each of celeriac, potato and swede plus a grated onion and seasonings. I mixed in a little wholemeal flour and a little beaten egg because I have found it falls apart without these additions. I made a biggish one and several little ones and they stayed together nicely with a bit of pressing! I fried mine in a mix of butter and olive oil. Everyone loved them. I served them with a poached egg and baked beans."

"This looked lovely - like it had come from a patisserie! I ate it at my friend's yesterday after lunch, thought it was gorgeous, then came home and made one for my family. It's so nice I'm making it again tomorrow for my Mother-in-law's birthday tea (so it must be nice!) "
