"Great recipe! Works every time for me *touch wood* The rectangle shape makes it so much more interesting and modern, I really hope my friends dont see this recipe as I get serious browny points whenever I make it. I use regular caster sugar as I feel it looks nicer when lighter in colour- looks great on a black plate."

"We used butternut squash too, but our guests were ultra-late and it dried out somewhat. Everyone still had seconds however..geat recipe!"

"I fear that they really just dont ever look as good as they do in the picture, it really is difficult to make them so flawlessly covered- unless you really have a lot of ingredients to play with, and potentially waste. Also..it may be somewhat over powering to have a too large a ball in one go. I'd either keep them small, or serve with bread/ bruschetta."

"They look amazing, I served them galloping around the pineapple's foliage. Not sure if i'd make them again though...quite hard work/messy to make. That's just me being lazy though :S"
