    "Amazing! A friend of mine tried them and said they were fantastic and asked for the recipe.... I showed it to her and she replied "But I hate coconut!" so even the biggest coconut haters can be converted by this gorgeous recipe!"

    "I've got to be honest... these look like doughnuts, but I'm afraid they just taste like sweet bread. I think frying them would give them the real crispy taste that I was looking for, baking just doesn't work (healthier though it is!)."

    "Really great, mine came out a bit pale so I left them in for an extra 5 minutes and they were a nice golden colour. I used raisins instead of blueberries and brazil nuts instead of pecans (I'd ran out of pecans). The raisins were lovely and the brazils were good, however I would try to use pecans next time. I also used flora instead of butter for a slightly healthier version and still thought they were fab. A great family favourite."

    "These were great, chewy on the inside and crisp on the outside. I did however do it wrong on my first atempt, as there was the tiniest bit of egg yolk in the whites and it stopped them forming stiff peaks. Ooops. "

    "Made these recently with a friend and they turned out great. They were so easy and tasted excellent. I also made meringues with the left over egg whites (Ultimate Meringue by Angela Nilson) which were also very good."
