"I have made the cake without Amaretto and Tia Maria. Huge mistake: the filling had a plain and uninteresting taste. So use all the ingredients in the recipe! The sponge was a little hard, maybe I should have sprinkled more coffee on the edges to make is softer."

"Very easy to make and incredibly delicious. Roasting the poppy seeds is a very good idea, it releases all those great flavors. I also used just 200g butter. Be careful not to chose a bitter chocolate for the cream, unless you want it so."
