"Delicious! I added some demerara sugar as the onions cooked to add some sweetness. A really fragrant aniseedy flavour from the toasted caraway seeds. A nice way to make cabbage interesting!"

"My mum made me this - it was lovely. The fresh ginger gives it a real 'zing'. Any left over sauce would be great with cold pasta for lunch the next day. Thanks Mum!"

Lemon French toast with poached plums

"Looked like Hell but tasted like Heaven! I used creme fraiche instead of yogurt. That & lots of fresh coriander turned it from something that looked awful and unappetising - to looking & tasting delicious. I cooked it the day before and refrigerated it overnight. I left the final yogurt & coriander stage until just before serving. Will definitely do this again. Yummy!"

"I added a whole tin of coconut milk as the recipe suggests but it was more like soup so I let it cook for a lot longer to reduce. I didn't have any spinach so threw in some frozen peas (similar?!) It was delicious. I will definitely make it again"
