Classic white loaf

"I followed the recipe to the letter but the bread just didn't rise once in the oven. I ended up with a very tasty but dense loaf. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the fast yeast I used which said the 7g sachet was for 2 x 500g loaves, but the recipe says to use the whole sachet. "

"Delicious beef and the gravy was amazing for so few ingredients (I didn't use the thyme). It does need a long cook to soften the beef. I served it with a basic buttery mash and it let the flavour shine through."

Apricot & raspberry buckle

"I made this with blackberries & raspberries and it was wonderful. It was the first time I made it and it was so simple. I had to use a 23cm round tin so the cake should have come out thicker than it did."
