"These are absolutely delicious and very quick to make. The flavours are also beautifully balanced. We had a vegetarian friend round and as we are not, we just put a slice of proscuitto on top for the last 8 minutes of baking, which made them even better!"

"Lovely flavours - This easy dish has converted me to aubergines. They definitely need longer to soften though and make sure they are well seasoned."

"Fabulous one pot dish. This being my second attempt, I added an extra anchovy and some more capers and cooked it for 40 minutes instead of 20 for more depth. I then added a tin of cannellini beans for the last 10 mins. Maybe if you are cooking for longer it would be better to use thighs on the bone. Nonetheless - WONDERFUL!"

"I was only interested in the chicken for a casual group supper. What can I say except absolutely finger lickin' sensational!"

"Question is, why do you need the oven on for this recipe? This is a quick 'n' easy, just as tasty alternative to traditional kiev. Goes well with baked beans and homemade potato wedges."
