"We are all egg custard fanatics in our house, especially my son, so this very easy recipe was a delight to make and got top marks from my son. I agree with Natalie that it tasted better the next day and we had to fight over the last slice, shall make this on a regular basis now. Next time I will try susbstituting some of the double cream for half fat creme fraiche which I do when making a quiche and always works well"

"Decided to try this recipe to use up a glut of seasonal veg and having read previous comments decided to use chicken thighs (though not quite so healthy) and it turned out really well and very tasty. I dry roasted the chicken thights for twenty minutes then added the potatoes and turned them in the juices from the chicken and cooked for a further 10 minutes. Next I removed the chicken, chucked in the rest of the veg with salt and pepper, mixed it all up, put the chicken back on top with home made pesto (my daughter is allergic to nuts) 4 sprigs of thyme and 4 plump cloves of garlic which I squeezed out over the veg at the end. The addition of herbs and garlic really lifted the dish, and took a total of 1hour 10 mins to cook. Will make this dish again."

"Another of your recipes cooked by my novice of a cook daughter. It was so easy and so tasty, we enjoyed every last morsal. We don't care for olives very much so I suggested we throw in what was left of a mixed jar of roasted peppers into the couscous and it worked a treat. Might try the sundried tomatoes suggestion next time as we will definitely be making this again."

"Another of your recipes cooked by my novice cook of a daughter. It was so easy, very tasty and very filling. We don't like olives so I suggested we throw in what was left of a jar of roasted red and yellow peppers into the couscous and it worked a treat. Might try the sundried tomato suggestion next time."

"My daughter who has a vegetarian boyfriend and doesn't supposedly like aubergine made this with my guidance since she is just finding her feet on the cooking front thanks to good food, and it turned out abosolutely wonderful. We enjoyed it very much, very tasty, we ate the lot. Didn't make any changes to the recipe at all, just ate the rest of the bread to mop up the juices. The boyfriend is now an aubergine convert."
