"This is good as a weekday supper, I also add some courgette when I'm frying the mushroom to up our veg intake and reserve a few of the spinach leaves to serve on the side (I make the sauce with fresh spinach)."

"This is a tasty recipe but be patient with the onions. Also I found if you're not careful the base could be a little soggy, I bake the pastry blind for a couple of minutes before adding the topping and serve with a salad to stop it being too greasy. Its worth making extra for the pickle."

"Cooked this as a light supper but probably better as a side dish, or part of a mezze. Flavours worked well but if you used all the lemon it might be a little overpowering, I reserved some of the lemon to serve it with lemon slices on the side."

"I found this took longer to cook than stated. the squash was still hard after 20 minutes and it wasn't very tasty, tried adding more chilli and some red wine but still wouldn't have it again. Might be good if the squash was roasted first. "
