"I have made this several times, it is a delicious, light, elegant ending to a dinner party. A wonderful reminder of summer. Can be made the day before, which takes the heat off if you are cooking for a crowd. Worth the little bit of effort it takes. "

"Wonderful!! Made it several times everyone loves it. Freezes well, looks amazing, tastes superb. I couldn't get the cointreau cream so made a Grand Marnier version of my own. Just whipped up some double cream with orange zest, icing sugar, and Grand Marnier."

" I made this in advance because my daughters and I were having a "girls day out." How wonderful to come home to a dinner cooked by my husband and a scrumptious pudding. The cake did take longer to cook than stated in the recipe but it turned out moist with a lovely crisp top. What little was left over has lasted well in the fridge and has been wonderful with a cup of tea. One of the best cakes I have made in ages!! "
