"Really tasty. I agree it can be a bit watery so I adjust for that. I also make this with lamb replacing the lentils with butternut squash and it's delicious."

"Quite disappointed with this cake. It was too cinammony and dense for my tastes and I was hoping for a lighter fluffier carrot cake. I also think there is far too much butter in the frosting and I'm not keen on it at all. I'll be trying a different carrot cake recipe next time!"

"Very moreish and went down a treat with everyone. I split the batch and put dark chocolate chips in one of them which was really nice."

"Tasty, healthy and filling. I made mine with soya beans and simmered the carrots for a lot longer than 10 minutes because I don't like them underdone. Was left with a soup that was the perfect consistency. Will definitely make again."
